It would seem that loyal beliebers once again have something to believe in the teen pop sensation after he was cleared of involvement in his recent alleged hit and run case. The incident supposedly happened as the 19 year old singer was trying to leave a comedy club in Los Angeles last night.
Apparently, Justin Bieber, along with rapper Lil Twist were on Justin’s white Ferrari, trying to exit Laugh Factory on Sunset Strip where a fray of photographers where eagerly waiting outside to get a shot of the pop singer. There was even a leaked video that shows Justin clearly behind the wheel of his Ferrari. According to reports, he gestured for the paparazzi to move out of the way as he tried to maneuver around them. The victim claims that in the middle of the confusion, he was pinned between the star’s vehicle and another car, leaving him limping as Justin Bieber drove off. The paparazzo was immediately rushed to the hospital with no major damage found.
According to TMZ, Justin has provided a statement to the police regarding the incident. In TMZ’s website, the police’s report reads, “Justin Bieber is saying he didn’t know he hit anyone as he left the Laugh Factory, and police are clearing him of any wrongdoing.” It is further suggested that the incident was the paparazzo’s own fault because he was blocking the road, clearly to take a snapshot of the young singer.
This is not the first time though, that Justin Bieber has been indirectly linked to an incident with a paparazzo involved. Back in February, photographer Chris Guerra was killed during an effort to take a shot of the famed singer’s car. Justin’s statement in relation to this particular case is as follows, “While I was not present nor directly involved with this tragic accident, my thoughts and prayers are with the family of the victim,” ultimately bidding a stronger regulations regarding the paparazzi. “Hopefully this tragedy will finally inspire meaningful legislation and whatever other necessary steps to protect the lives and safety of celebrities, police officers, innocent public bystanders, and the photographers themselves,” the statement continues.
Justin has stirred a lot of headline-grabbing news recently including a capuchin monkey as well as other brushes with the paparazzi. However, Justin Bieber never forgets to keep up with his music activities. Right now, he is still in the middle of the Believe Tour, which started in the latter part of 2012.
